Safety Coordinator

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Safety Coordinator to support health and safety initiatives within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of OSHA regulations, risk assessment, and safety training, with a passion for promoting a culture of safety and compliance. This is a great opportunity for a safety professional to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, hands-on setting.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and enforce compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations, including OSHA standards.

Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments throughout the facility.

Investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions.

Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels.

Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, training, and inspections.

Collaborate with plant leadership to implement and improve safety policies and procedures.

Serve as a point of contact for safety-related concerns and provide guidance on best practices.

Qualifications:

3 years of experience in a safety role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field preferred.

In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and educate others.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management systems.

Certification such as OSHA 30, CSP, or CHST is a plus.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: Starting at $65,000 based on experience

Hours: Monday through Friday
