About the Position
commUnity+ is currently seeking applications for the role of Operations Assistant in our Community Education Program.
Reporting to the Deputy Operations Manager – Education, the Operations Assistant is part of the Education Administration Team and a principal point of contact for clients, community members, students, and other visitors who reach out with regards to the Education program. The position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, administrative support, collecting new client data and maintaining records. The Operations Assistant will primarily support the Adult Migrant English Program and Skills for Education and Employment programs.
This position is based in Keilor Downs and is a part time Fixed term (4-month contract with potential for extension) position with 30.4 hours per week.
Key Selection Criteria
Certificate III in Administration or higher in a relevant field
Minimum twelve (12) months demonstrated experience working in an administrative and/or reception role within a similar environment
High level of computer literacy, specifically with the Microsoft Office suite
Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a broad range of clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Excellent organisation and time management skills and experience working under pressure and organising work priorities to meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a team and to apply initiative to problem solving with minimal supervision.
