Commercial Lines Account Manager - Insurance Agency - Base Salary to 70k/year - Columbus, OH

Our client, an insurance agency focused on providing custom insurance solutions for real estate investors is looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager. They service individual investors, conglomerates, bulk REO holders, wholesalers, and lenders. They service over 140, 000 locations nationally.

Responsibilities:

Building and servicing a book of accounts within the commercial property space.

Calling on warm inbound leads & binding policies to build the book of accounts.

Develop & maintain effective business relationships with broker & underwriting partners.

Evaluate current insurance coverage, develop & advise proposal options that protect the investor as it relates to their real estate portfolio.

Assemble & submit complete accurate submissions to underwriting and markets.

Promptly submit proposal requests to markets.

Review carrier documents for accuracy before sending them to prospects and clients.

Educate clients on the differences in insurance coverage & assist them in determining the best coverage for their business model.

Prepare binding applications & documentation, collect payment information for bind request.

Complete & prepare certificates of insurance, endorsements, proposals, policy summaries, invoices etc

Qualifications:

Property and Casualty (P&C) Licensed required.

2+ years experience in account management/insurance sales.

Compensation:

Base salary to 70k/year, plus 15% on new business.

Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision. PTO, Paid Holidays, etc.

New location opening in Columbus! You will work remote until office is built, then hybrid (3 days in, 2 remote).

You will fly out to their headquarters for a 2-4 week training.
