**Job Description:**
**Position:** **Telecommunications Engineer II**
**Location: Lewis Center, OH**
**Onsite Requirement: Onsite**
**4.5 Month contract, potential to extend up to 30 months**
**Description:**
**Targeted Years of Experience: 3-5 years**
**Responsibilities:**
- Design and install the equipment used in transmitting wired phone, cellular, cable, and broadband data.
- Work with copper or Fiber Optic cables and complex networks as well as switching systems
- Design or configure communications systems, including voice, video, and data, and install or coordinate installation for new or modified hardware, software, or programming modules of a telecommunications system.
- Evaluate hardware and software to determine its efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with the existing systems, networks, and data.
- Monitor and analyze system performance to proactively identify service-impacting issues, manage large products requiring telecommunication services, and ensure timely planning and implementation.
- Produce, update, and generally improve technical documentation to support the systems• security requirements and operational support.
**MUST HAVE SKILLS**
Technical Skill: familiarity, knowledge of, and ability to install essential ground equipment at RAN macro facilities.
Soft Skill: clear and timely communication; ability to prioritize and be self-sufficient; timeliness; dependability.
**DESIRED SKILLS:**
Excel/FUZE data entry; high working knowledge of IP protocol and router configurations; knowledge of RAN equipment.
