Industrial Hygienist

Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Industrial Hygienist to oversee occupational health and hygiene programs at West Qurna-2 in Iraq. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in occupational health, proven experience in remote international projects, and a commitment to maintaining safe and compliant work environments.

Qualifications:

Hygiene Doctor diploma.

Occupational Health certification.

Fluent English.

Minimum 5 years of work in specialty.

Minimum 3 years in remote site medical services on international projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor occupational health programs in compliance with Company standards and Iraqi law.

Conduct regular hygiene and food safety inspections in accommodation, canteen, and contractor facilities.

Monitor and assess workplace environmental hazards (noise, dust, chemicals, etc.).

Maintain accurate inspection reports and submit findings as per contract requirements.

Support health promotion, wellness programs, and preventive health initiatives.

Advise management on occupational health risks and recommend corrective actions.

Participate in investigations of work-related illnesses and incidents.

Ensure compliance with HSE standards for occupational health.
