About the Role
The HR Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor and consultant to business leaders across the organization, aligning human resources strategies with business goals. This role partners closely with department leaders to support workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and HR policy alignment. The HRBP also contributes to key HR initiatives and ensures the consistent application of HR best practices, compliance standards, and company values.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and team effectiveness.
Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance issues, and disciplinary actions.
Partner with leaders to support goal setting, employee development, and performance management cycles.
Lead or support change management efforts, including department restructures, new initiatives, and culture-building activities.
Collaborate with HR centers of excellence (benefits, talent acquisition, payroll, etc.) to deliver seamless HR services.
Interpret and apply HR policies, procedures, and employment laws to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
Support employee engagement initiatives, action planning, and internal communication strategies.
Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform decisions and support business strategies.
Conduct investigations related to employee complaints or policy violations and recommend appropriate actions.
Provide onboarding support and guidance for new managers or key hires.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in human resources, with at least 3 years in a business partner or generalist role.
PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of California and federal employment laws.
Ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

This role requires sound judgment, discretion, and a consultative approach in managing sensitive matters. The HR Business Partner must be comfortable navigating both strategic and operational aspects of HR, and be able to support teams across multiple locations.Company Description
