Job Description

Performs entry level tasks in departments throughout the mill.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supports and fosters safety and environmental compliance

· Understands and adheres to safe work practices, behaviors, and safe work environments

· Adheres to safety regulations, company policy, rules of conduct, governmental regulations, and good housekeeping procedures.

· Fosters good employee and team relations.

· Works in environmental extremes including both indoors and outside in heat and cold

· Performs manual labor tasks including but not limited to lifting, pulling, and pushing

· Works at heights and in confined spaces

· Shovels stock, lime, bark, and other materials

· Cleans U-drains

· Uses low- and high-pressure hoses to wash stock, equipment, and other areas of the mill

· Uses high presser air lance to blow bark, paper, debris, and materials from equipment and building facilities

· Operates fork truck, clamp truck, bobcat, backhoe, CAT 966 loader, and other heavy equipment

· Picks up paper and trash from mill building floors and mill areas

· Empties trash

· Fills in other department vacancies

· Performs other labor duties required within the department assigned.

Qualifications:

· Highschool Diploma or GED

· Flexible to perform duties as assigned.
