Responsibilities

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

Develop sketches, diagrams, design alternatives, calculations, and permitting and construction drawings under the supervision of an experienced civil engineer

Assist with activities related to project scope, schedule, budgets, documentation, submittals, quality, communications, and disciplines coordination Work with MEP and Structural Engineering and Architecture Departments on multi-disciplinary projects

Attend project/client meetings

Assist with report writing and development of contract documents

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

5 years’ experience in design and planning multi-disciplinary engineering projects, including civil-site. Working knowledge of standard engineering software, e.g., AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

EIT or PE License Preferred

Knowledge in local and national codes and standards

Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary engineering team

Strong analytical and communications skills

Ability to coordinate with other disciplines and projectsCompany Description
