Description:
Our machine operator is responsible for safe operation of blanking equipment as part of our production process. This equipment may include, but is not limited to, Laser, Press brake, Band Saw, Shear, Drill Press, Small and Large Rollers. They must be capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings for our custom bulk trucks, storage magazines, and other equipment.
At this time we are specifically looking for someone who has at least 1-2 years of experience operating a CNC press brake and working with steel in a production environment.Requirements:
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Press Brake
Ability to set up and run CNC press brake
Ability to identify different thickness and grade material to ensure proper die set up
Capable use of measurement devices such as tape measures, calipers, angle finders
Safe operation of overhead crane to move material from pallets to the press brake table
Properly transact work orders to capture labor and costs
Maintains a clean and safe work environment for self and coworkers

EDUCATION and SKILLS
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· 1-2 years of relative experience operating manufacturing blanking equipment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly
· Must be physically able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl and climb

Reports to the Fabrication Supervisor
Assisted by Fabrication Group Lead
