Job Title: Flux Core MIG Welder

Job Summary
We are currently hiring experienced Flux Core MIG Welders to join our growing team. This role involves fabricating and welding metal components according to detailed blueprints and specifications, while maintaining strict adherence to quality and safety standards. Candidates must have strong mechanical skills and a solid background in MIG welding, especially flux core techniques. In addition to welding duties, this position requires operating forklifts and supporting general equipment maintenance and assembly as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble metal parts by cutting, shaping, and fitting materials per project requirements
Perform MIG welding (primarily flux core) to join components with precision and durability
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Inspect finished welds for structural soundness and compliance with industry standards
Safely operate forklifts and other job site equipment as necessary
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of welding tools and machinery
Assist with pipe threading and other mechanical duties as required
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely project completion
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in MIG welding, with strong flux core expertise (Required)
Solid mechanical aptitude and familiarity with a wide range of welding tools and equipment
Ability to read and understand blueprints and project specifications
Knowledge of welding codes, procedures, and safety regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong commitment to safety and cleanliness in the workplace
Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Itawamba County, MS (Required)
