Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable EEG Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing electroencephalogram (EEG) tests to assist in the diagnosis of neurological disorders. This role requires a strong understanding of physiology and anatomy, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, such as a Level I or Level II trauma center. The EEG Technician will play a crucial role in providing quality care and diagnostic evaluation to patients.
Responsibilities
Conduct EEG tests by preparing patients and ensuring proper electrode placement.
Monitor patients during the procedure, recording vital signs and observing any changes in their condition.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret results and provide accurate diagnostic evaluations.
Maintain equipment, ensuring it is clean and functioning properly before and after each test.
Document patient information, including medical history and test results, using appropriate medical terminology.
Provide care and support to patients throughout the testing process, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Stay updated on advancements in EEG technology and procedures to enhance diagnostic capabilities.

Certifications:BLS
Skills
Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to neurological functions.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to EEG procedures and patient care.
Experience working in emergency medicine or trauma settings is preferred.
Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations accurately while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
Proficient in monitoring vital signs during testing procedures.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:00)
