Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Project Engineer to lead the launch of new products for their valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the manufacturing launch of new products for key customersDevelop, manage, and track project budgets and timelinesCommunicate project status to customers, ensuring trust, confidence, and reputation as a top-tier supplierProvide project updates to internal stakeholders, cross-functional team members, and leadership at each milestone of the New Product Introduction (NPI) processProactively identify and resolve project risks, including technical, cost, safety, and timing risksEngineer and implement new manufacturing processes to ensure products meet print specifications consistentlyCreate and maintain engineering data and documents, including drawings, Bills-of-Material, Routings, Standard Rates, Process FMEA, Work Instructions, and Quality Control PlansCollaborate with Tooling Engineers and Designers to design, build, and validate tooling and quality control gaugesLead continuous improvement projects and contribute to the development of new manufacturing technologies or processes Job-Specific Competencies:Strong project management and organizational skillsAbility to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, including Laser Cutting, Press Brake, Metal Stamping, MIG and Projection Welding, and Complex AssembliesExpertise in Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)Proficiency in SolidWorks, CAD sheet metal design, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Lean Manufacturing/Six SigmaEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to solve complex problems and drive process improvementStrong relationship-building skills Core Values:Respect: Value differences, be open to others' opinions, and respect time and intentIntegrity: Align actions with intentions and maintain trustHumility: Recognize areas for improvement and give credit where dueTeamwork: Collaborate effectively and hold the team accountableInnovation: Pursue creative solutions and encourage new ideasDrive: Demonstrate discipline, continuous improvement, and a results-oriented mindset Experience and Education Required:BS in Mechanical or Industrial EngineeringDirect manufacturing experience and proficiency in the skills outlined above5-7 years Project management experience Working Conditions:In-office position with occasional remote work by exceptionSitting, standing, walking, and climbing stairs requiredTravel up to 20% If you're a driven and experienced Manufacturing Project Engineer with a passion for leading product launches and continuous improvement, we encourage you to apply!
