Position Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer will plan, implement, and oversee strategic projects aimed at optimizing the PCB production process. This role involves designing and developing methods and tools to evaluate current workflows and identify inefficiencies. Lean principles will be applied to enhance operational efficiency.

Position Location: Uxbridge, MA
Potential Earnings: $84,000 - $115,000 (Compensation depends on skills, knowledge, education, and experience)
Key Responsibilities Include:
Program Creation/Update of SMT/THT Production equipment such as Screen printer, Laser marker PNP and AOI
Manage the Repairs of such equipment
Document and Train SMT/THT Production employees
Perform OEE calculation of SMT/THT equipment
Maintain SAP Routing
Set up a plan to improve Production equipment downtime
Train Operation personnel on new Processes and Equipment operation
Participate in Engineering Change Meetings to address PCB Production impact and Manage PCB Production Pilots
Interfaces with SMT Production equipment manufacturers to address SMT equipment issues
Interfaces with PCB designer to generate specifications for production
Solve PCB quality issues reported at MRB
Adhere to ESD Policy and Practices
Introduce new innovative Technologies to improve Productivity
Requirements
Qualifications Include:
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in PCB production Process and equipment
Experience with Hanwha’s PNP machine, Koh Joung’s AOI machine, SMT Screen Printer and Laser Marker is preferred
SAP ERP experience
A strong Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Effective communication skills; both written and verbal
Strong commitment to quality and safety
