Maintenance Superintendent - Oklahoma Relocation

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent to lead the maintenance efforts at our frac and sand processing facility in Oakwood, Oklahoma (just north of Weatherford, OK). Relocation assistance is provided. We are a leading provider of high-quality sand & gravel materials with a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and innovation.

The Maintenance Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities across the sand mine and wet/dry plants to ensure operational reliability, equipment uptime, and long-term performance. This leadership role is hands-on and will be managing teams and preventive maintenance programs.

Compensation:

$120,000 – $125,000/year to start.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead a team of mechanics, electricians, and technicians.

Plan, schedule, and prioritize preventive and corrective maintenance activities for stationary plant equipment and heavy mobile equipment.

Responsible for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for stationary plant equipment and heavy mobile equipment.

Supervise, coach, train, and administer discipline to assigned personnel.

Assist with capital project construction or production additions.

Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Assume responsibility for all plant automation/instrumentation functions.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a frac & sand, mining, or heavy industrial environment.

3 years managerial experience preferred.

Experience maintaining stationary plant and heavy mobile equipment.

Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred.

Proficiency in CMMS platforms.Company Description
