Would you like to make a difference in the life of a young person by assisting them to achieve independence through obtaining their driver’s licence?

Do you have the passion and drive to commit yourself to a challenging and rewarding role? We invite you to consider volunteering with our Drive for Life program in Orange.

Support young people to find independence: Using your knowledge, skills and experience of driving a vehicle to upskill and empower young people to achieve their driver licence, ensuring correct driving behaviour is reinforced and encouraged so as to increase positive outcomes for participants during and beyond the program.

Develop Positive relationships: As a volunteer with Youthlink Drive for Life, you'll build rapport and develop supportive relationships with learner drivers. Your empathy, consistency, reliability and patience will model safe and stable relationships for our young drivers.

This role will give volunteers an opportunity to develop mentoring, communication, and instruction skills. Moreover, develop positive relationships with at-risk young people.
