Additional Information About the Role BJC HealthCare System is hiring a PRN Radiology Tech for Barnes-Jewish Hospital Position Details:PRN - Flexible Scheduling Monday – Friday for evening shift Mallinckrodt Tower (General Diagnostic Department)Samsung and Carestream portables equipmentMust be available to work 4 shifts per schedule period (6 weeks) to meet PRN Requirement Qualifications:Education: Associate degree or higher in a related field.Certification: Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R). - Current or obtaining in the next 6 months Experience:ARRT registeredNew grads, upcoming grads, and experienced Radiologic Technologists/MRI Technologists are encouraged to apply Radiologic Technologist, x-ray technologist, x ray technologist2 year's experience as a radiologic technologist (preferred)CPR certifiedAble to work independently in the emergency room, performing portable exams or performing exams on in-house patients.

Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders ResponsibilitiesPrepares patient and equipment for procedures.

Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism.Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on-call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
