Licensed Practical Nurse

needed for a contract

opportunity with Yoh's client located in Carrollton, GA.

This LPN will work with four providers to provide chronic and acute care to children and adults.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Duration:

6 week contract with possibility of extension or direct placement

Pay: $25-35/hr DOE

What You'll Be Doing:

Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice

Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders

Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures

Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records

Performs other duties as assigned

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.

Licensed as a Practical Nurse

Current hands on Certification in Basic Life Support is required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on scope of contract services.

3+ years of clinical experience as a LPN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting.

Epic experience is a plus
