Specialized Engineer - Infrastructure

EPortal is actively recruiting for the role of Specialized Engineer - Infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our company's technology systems. This position requires an experienced engineer who can work collaboratively with other departments, team members, and stakeholders to support the organization's growth and innovation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Your roles and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Design, implement, and maintain technology infrastructure, including servers, storage, network and security systems.

Collaborate with other departments and teams to identify and implement infrastructure improvements to support business needs.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.

Conduct regular security audits and implement measures to ensure data privacy and protection, as well as participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing.

Train and support other team members in infrastructure related tasks.

Stay up-to-date on new technologies and industry trends and recommend improvements to the infrastructure as needed.

To apply, you must meet the minimum requirements below:

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the following industries: ICT, technology, and/or telecoms.

Strong knowledge of servers, storage, network, and security systems.

Experience with cloud-based infrastructure technologies is a plus.

Knowledge of industry standards and regulations for technology infrastructure operations.

Fluent in English (spoken and written). Arabic fluency is an advantage.

Fluent in MS Office.
