Locum OB/GYN Position in Flint, MI

Join a dedicated team at a Level III Trauma hospital in Flint, Michigan. Our facility, the McLaren Flint Hospital, is seeking a qualified OB/GYN physician to provide 24-hour call coverage. This ongoing opportunity allows you to focus on patient care with an average of 5 patients per day, supported by a skilled hospital staff. Experience a dynamic work environment equipped with CERBER technology and a Level I nursery. Job Responsibilities:

Provide 24-hour call coverage for obstetric and gynecological patients.

Monitor and manage patient care, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Collaborate with hospital staff and utilize available resources for patient management.

Document patient information and manage records using electronic health systems.

Participate in hospital team meetings and contribute to departmental protocols. Qualifications:

Board Certified OB/GYN (No Board Eligible candidates accepted).

Michigan medical license and Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) required at time of submission.

BLS certification required.

Must have a clean background for prompt credentialing.

Local providers preferred; no exceptions permitted.

Ability to provide availability and submit rates at the time of application.

DEA verbal confirmation required upon name clear. License and Certification Requirements:

Current Michigan medical license.

BLS certification.

Immunization documentation: Hep B, MMR, Varicella, TDAP, within required time frames.

Covid vaccination documentation or declination if not received.

TB screening required within specified time period.
