Mission

Responsible for general boarding of passengers and assisting with any special needs that arise.

Profile

All Shuttle Hosts receive work directions from the Director of Operations and the Operations Supervisors and direct their questions to the Director of Operations.

The following is intended to be descriptive but not necessarily all inclusive of the functions of Parks Transportation's Shuttle Host.

Must be familiar with the operation of the shuttle system.

Must maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance in proper uniform.

Use proper radio protocol.

Maintain the que-line of passengers.

Handle Shuttle questions and complaints.

Preserve and enhance the quality of life for Zion National Park, by observing Parks Transportation, Inc.'s guiding principles.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Have excellent Customer Service

Mental Functions Required:

Must be able to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions. Must be able to communicate clearly and sufficiently with the Parks Transportation office and other vehicle operators over hand-radios and in person.

Environmental Factors:

Exposed to hot, cold and rainy weather; humidity; road conditions, traffic fumes and traffic hazards, dust, communicable diseases and loud noises.

Protective Equipment Required:

Gloves, protective clothing, shoes with adequate tread and, if needed, dust mask, back-support belt. Safety Vest

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Parttime 20-30 Hours

Pay Rate $24.65/HR

High school graduate or GED

Must be at least 18 years of age.
