We are seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk to support our finance team during a transitional period. This role will focus on processing vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy in records, and assisting with timely payments. The ideal candidate will be organized, accurate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Functions

Key Responsibilities

Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in accordance with company policies

Match purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices

Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable files and records

Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues

Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner

Assist with month-end closing and reporting as needed

Qualifications

Previous experience in accounts payable or similar accounting role preferred

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP experience a plus)

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
