About the Role

Tru Architectural is a visionary contract glazing company with our own production and installation facilities, specializing in high-end glazing scopes, curtain walls, sliding doors, windows, and pivot doors. We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to be the right hand to our Project Managers and a key player in our project success.

This role is for a proactive problem-solver who can handle the fast-paced, complex environment of our projects. You will be the engine behind project delivery, ensuring our teams stay organized, on schedule, and equipped with everything they need to succeed.

What You'll Do

Project Execution & Coordination: Serve as the central hub for communication and logistics, coordinating with designers, fabricators, suppliers, and field teams to ensure all project deliverables are met.

Scheduling & Documentation: Manage the flow of critical project documentation, including submittals and transmittals. You will be responsible for creating, monitoring, and updating detailed schedules to keep projects on track.

Financial & Administrative Support: Assist with cost control and procurement, including placing and expediting purchase orders. You will help with cost-to-complete forecasts and maintain impeccably organized project documentation.

Field & Team Support: Proactively gather information and provide real-time support to our on-site teams. You'll be crucial in ensuring they have what they need to work efficiently.

What You'll Bring

We are looking for a dedicated professional with a solid foundation in the industry.

A minimum of 5+ years of experience with a specialist building envelope subcontractor in a coordination or technical role.

Strong technical knowledge of the façade and envelope industry.

Proven experience in project planning, with proficiency in tools like MS Project.

A strong grasp of procurement, negotiation, and supply chain management.

Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD.

A proactive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to manage frequent changes in a dynamic environment.
