We are seeking a talented and driven Electrical Engineer II to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in the design and development of electronic control units and displays, supporting both new product development and the sustainment of existing platforms. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create robust, high-performance electrical systems that elevate the end-user experience and meet rigorous industry standards.Key Responsibilities

Design and document electrical schematics for embedded controllers and display systems utilizing microcontrollers, microprocessors, and application-specific I/O.

Use simulation tools to model, test, and optimize circuit performance for efficiency and reliability.

Collaborate on PCB layout designs, ensuring adherence to industry standards and manufacturing requirements.

Conduct thorough design validation, including lab testing and formal qualification to ensure functional safety and performance.

Work in close partnership with mechanical and software engineers to integrate electrical systems into complete product solutions.

Interface with manufacturing teams to ensure cost-effective and scalable designs.

Create and maintain technical documentation such as design specs, test reports, manuals, and engineering change orders.

Support existing product lines through failure analysis, corrective actions, and updates related to part obsolescence.

Stay informed on the latest trends and innovations in electrical engineering, particularly in automotive and heavy equipment sectors.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., OrCAD, Altium).

Solid understanding of core electrical design principles.

Experience with circuit simulation tools (e.g., SPICE).

Skilled in using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and multimeters.

Experience with power electronics is highly desirable.

Familiarity with wireless communication protocols (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) is a strong plus.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.

Experience in embedded electronics development for vehicular applications is preferred.

Self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, preferably related to embedded systems or automotive electronics.Company Description
