We are a high-end Construction and Property Management Company actively recruiting for a Purchasing and Inventory Manager who can learn, setup and implement an inventory system of all project consumables, equipment, tools, etc with Toolhound software.
Job Summary:
The Purchasing and Inventory Manager will maintain the organization’s inventory, ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all procurements. This role involves overseeing the procurement of office supplies and crew consumables for various departments, as well as managing inventory across multiple locations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Purchasing:
Procurement of office supplies and crew consumables.
Weekly meetings with department heads to assess needs.
Collaboration with construction project managers to anticipate project requirements and timelines.
Creation of procurement schedules and coordination of lead times.
Inventory:
Receive and distribution of items and materials.
Management of inventory levels across all locations.
Coordination with project managers to ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
Assign company property to employees, ie. cell phones, tablets, ipads.
Maintain inventory locations in good condition and organized.
Preparation of end-of-year inventory reports.
Other Duties:
Develop and maintain good working relationships with vendors.
Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
Perform periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits.
Obtain materials as needed for the jobsite from purchasing to receiving to inventorying each item received.
Enter all purchases you make into Quickbooks.
Return any materials for return or repair, obtain RMAs if needed.
Performs other related duties as requested.
Forklift experience and a construction background a plus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm.
Salary based on experience.
Salary Range 70K to 80K.
Must pass a Drug Screen and a Background Check. Must have references.
