Business Development Manager - Contract Logistics

Location: Brake (Head Office) - National Travel

Salary: €100,000 - €110,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Are you a driven commercial leader with a track record of winning new business in contract logistics? Our client - a major player in third-party logistics - is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead growth across Germany and the wider DACH region.

The Role:

You'll be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new contract logistics business with manufacturers, retailers, and e-commerce players. This is a strategic sales role, focused on mid- to large-scale opportunities (multi-million euro contracts) and high-touch solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate and convert new business opportunities in warehousing, fulfilment, and value-added services.

Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders in target clients across automotive, industrial, retail, or FMCG sectors.

Work closely with solution design, operations, and finance teams to create compelling, tailored proposals.

Lead contract negotiations and hand over to operational teams post-signature.

Represent the business at trade events and client meetings throughout Germany and beyond.

About You:

Proven experience in as a Business Development Manager within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain space.

Deep understanding of warehousing, distribution, and value-added logistics.

Strong network across Germany/DACH and a hunter mindset.

Willingness to travel regularly for client meetings and site visits.
