We’re on the hunt for a skilled Manual Machinist/Operator who’s ready to turn raw materials into precision-crafted parts that power industries across the globe. Pay: $24-$30 per hour (includes a $3 shift differential for working off shift).
PTO/Holidays: 80 hours of holiday pay plus generous PTO.
Bonus: We reward hard work through quarterly incentive bonuses.
Overtime: Available but not mandatory.
Duties and responsibilities:
Read blueprints and perform set-ups.
Make fixtures on manual machinery.
Fabricate and assemble parts into a finished product.
Troubleshoot machinery when there is a process issue.
Produce parts with hand tools and machines to exact specifications.
Complete finishing operations and quality inspections for our products.
Follow all company safety policies and practices.
Other duties as assigned.
Required qualifications:
2 years of prior experience working in a Machine Shop or equivalent education is required.
Experience with manual mills and lathes or other machine shop equipment, as well as inspection equipment is required.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to use inspection equipment, such as micrometers and calipers, and ability to read blueprints.
Skilled in tool and fixture making.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Team oriented and communication skills.
Strong math and computer skills.
Must be a motivated self-starter and be able to work independently.
Ability to work overtime, sometimes on short notice.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Desired qualifications:
Manufacturing and/or technical experience.
Apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.
Physical requirements:
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds on a consistent basis.
Stand for 4+ hours a day.
Willingness to work around chemicals and use appropriate PPE.
