Job Description
We are seeking a committed and compassionate Special Education Resource Teacher to support students in achieving their academic goals through individualized and small-group instruction. This role requires experience in designing and implementing IEPs, data-driven teaching, and collaboration with families and school staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education or related field
Valid Arizona Elementary or Special Education Teaching Certificate
Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
SEI Endorsement preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Design and deliver individualized and small-group instruction
Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student needs
Implement and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Track and evaluate student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and collaborate with school teams
Utilize technology and research-based practices to enhance instruction
Participate in team meetings, school initiatives, and professional development
Ensure student safety and supervision during school-related activities
