Bakersfield Behavioral Healthcare Hospital, located in Bakersfield, California, is an acute psychiatric and behavioral 90 bed facility situated on 8.8 acres.
We offer inpatient and outpatient services for children, adolescents and adults needing mental/behavioral health, chemical dependency; and co-occurring disorders treatment through our medically supervised detoxification.

Job Summary
The Payroll Auditor at BBHH keeps us all compliant and within the confines of the law.
The highly detail-oriented person who will fill this role will be responsible for validating employee timecards, preparing payroll audit reports, financial data reports, and tracking employee statistics.
Under the direction and supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, the position will focus entirely on ensuring our payroll process and the data which supports that process is meticulously accurate and compliant.
The position is an hourly, non-exempt, overtime-eligible position with a wage range starting at $21.00-$30.00 per hour. Automatic merit increases will apply annually based on annual evaluations.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of healthcare experience in accounting and/or payroll environments and possess general knowledge of Federal and State employment and wage laws. ADP, KRONOS, & UKG Payroll systems.
Any experience using DocLink or similar platforms will be helpful.
Experience with managing complex and detailed records and expert-level Microsoft Excel required.
You should have a current CPR certification when you apply or obtain certification prior to your start date.
Additionally, you'll complete a "Handle-With-Care" Physical Restraint Technique Training during your orientation.
