It is Yale School of Medicine’s primary teaching hospital. The Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven Hospital is designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute, one of only 41 in the country.
The Yale Cancer Center and Section of Hematology invite applications from board-certified/board eligible hematologists or medical oncologists for positions emphasizing clinical and translational research at the levels of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at the Yale Medical School. Experience in clinical care of patients with multiple myeloma and strong interest in the development of clinical trials and novel therapies are particularly important. Emphasis is placed on the ability to foster interaction between laboratory and clinical investigators, lead clinical trial teams and conduct high impact clinical translational research. Interest in early-stage drug development and/or biologically targeted therapies are particularly sought. These positions involve clinical care and clinical research activities as well as expectations for participating in the teaching mission of the institution.

Licensure:
· Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or foreign equivalent
· Fellowship Training in Hematology
· Board Certified in Specialty with an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Connecticut.
