Job Title: Manager, Respiratory Care
Job Description: The Manager of Respiratory Care is a Registered Respiratory therapist who is responsible for ongoing operational oversight of the Respiratory Care department. Working with the director and other leaders, he/she ensures high quality respiratory care services are provided.
Education Requirements:
● Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy or related field is preferred.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
● Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the SC State Board of Medical Examiners
● Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
Professional Experience Requirements:
● Five (5) years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
Able to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment. Interpersonal communication skills necessary to work with hospital employees, physicians, patients, family members and community professionals. Ability to work flexible hours to meet Department needs.
