Position Summary:

GoldenWolf is seeking a SharePoint Developer to assist with providing customer service integration support of SharePoint Portal design, modification, and integrating automated processes, reports, and unique forms of Knowledge Management (KM). Supports our client Government Lead in designing and developing web-based and SharePoint solutions that may use data sources or include applications that access general user data.

Assists the client Government Lead with user management, site management, and the expertise to leverage collaborative tools, applications, and software suites available to support client goals. Works at the direction of the Government Lead with customers and teams to develop knowledge assessments and supporting solutions using SharePoint technologies and other collaborative tools within the organization.

Essential Functions:

01) Development and Customization

Design and develop Modern SharePoint Online artifacts: web parts, custom fields, lists, views, content types, sites, sub-sites, libraries, navigation, search, and custom branding

Implement and customize templates, page layouts, managed metadata, and enterprise features using C#, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, HTML, CSS, and Visual Studio Code

Build workflows and collaboration applications with InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, and PowerShell scripts

02) Stakeholder Engagement and Requirements Gathering

Interface with customers and government leadership at all levels to gather, translate, and advise on requirements

Lead technical design sessions and propose web-based or SharePoint solutions for approval

Partner with IT business analysts and subject matter experts to analyze business needs and desired outcomes

03) Data Migration and Integration

Coordinate data migrations, form and site creation, and content changes

Integrate SharePoint with other systems using built-in or third-party tools (e.g., Metalogix Content Matrix)

04) Testing, Troubleshooting, and Support

Participate in peer reviews, unit tests, and integration testing

Troubleshoot and track end-user issues; manage trouble ticket system lifecycle (processing, tracking, reporting, documentation)

Provide ad hoc support, documentation, analysis, and training for DHA FE leadership and staff

05) Governance, Compliance, and Maintenance

Enforce site standards, security policies, and governance processes

Maintain system status reports, tracking issues, action items, and change requests

Ensure compliance with DHA FE and higher-echelon IT standards, policies, and procedures

06) UI/UX and Responsive Design

Craft and fine-tune user interfaces to continually improve user experience

Ensure cross-platform and device compatibility using responsive design techniques

07) Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

Collaborate effectively with team members and leadership to implement ideas

Incorporate feedback from designers and stakeholders to refine designs

Engage in projects from concept through completion, applying design patterns and best practices

Job Type: COA - Contingent On Award of this project

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Travel Requirements: Up to 25% of worktime

Key Qualifications:

Five years of SharePoint client-side development using JavaScript frameworks/libraries and modern front-end technologies

Five years of HTML, CSS, XSLT, and Master Pages to tailor SharePoint look & feel and optimize user experience

Five years of SharePoint platform expertise, including:

Database interaction and control

SharePoint administration and file-structure management

Metadata controls, record center management, workflow management

IM/KM policy development and enforcement

User/group management, site, and document library administration

Widget management and site customizations

Backend/frontend database design and management

Extensive use of InfoPath and SharePoint Designer to build workflows and Data View Web Parts

Core Skills

Clear, logical, and persuasive oral and written communication to both technical and management audiences

Project management, training delivery, and technical advisory services

Strong critical thinking, evaluation, and problem-solving abilities

Proven track record of delivering products on time, on schedule, and within budget, with adaptability to fast-paced environments

Expertise in creating comprehensive technical documentation and illustrative examples

Rapidly acquires new skills and capabilities to meet evolving system, software, and hardware demands

Must be a US Citizen

Education:

Preferred a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college (in computer science, engineering, information technology, or liberal arts)
