POSITION TITLE: Catering Operations Associate

POSITION REPORTS TO: FOH Supervisor/Executive Chef

POSITIONS THAT REPORT TO THIS POSITION: None

NO. OF HOURS PER WEEK: 30-35/Part-Time Monday–Friday Morning Start (9 AM until job completion, approx. 2:30 PM)

We’re seeking a high-energy Catering Operations Associate to join our tight-knit crew. This role is primarily Front-of-House (FOH) focused with some Back-of-House (BOH) duties as they are available — ideal for someone who thrives on change, stays cool under pressure, and can own their time with confidence and hustle.

What You’ll Do

Front-of-House (FOH):

· Be the face of Bentos: maintain friendly, professional client interactions

· Check in with clients (usually office managers) during delivery and setup as needed

· Relay feedback and service details to the FOH Supervisor and Executive Chef

· Transport hot and cold food in company vans safely and on time

· Set up and serve buffet-style meals on-site

· Maintain service areas, restock supplies, and uphold cleanliness standards

· Maintain catering storage area and uphold cleanliness and organizational standards

· Pack orders accurately and load/unload vans — heavy lifting required

· Adhere to on-site client guild-lines for deliveries, buffet setup and cleanup/teardown

Back-of-House (BOH):

· Assist with large-scale food preparation and portioning as needed

· Keep kitchen clean and organized during BOH duties

· Ensure all sanitation and food safety guidelines are followed

What You Bring

· Valid Ohio driver’s license (held for at least 2 years)

· Clean driving record (no moving violations in past 2 years)

· 1+ year of delivery driving or 2+ years food service experience preferred

· Strong time management and map/GPS skills

· Ability to lift heavy food cases and navigate stairs if needed

· Ability to stand for long periods during service times

· Effective communicator — friendly and clear, in person and in writing

· High school diploma or GED

· Level 1 ServSafe certification (or willing to obtain within 90 days)
