EQUIPMENT INSTALLER/MAJOR PROJECTS DIVISION TECHNICIAN

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers.

Duties

Technician / Installer:

Analyze the status of the equipment and be able to identify all tools and equipment requirements to make repairs

Administer efficient repair of equipment Have a clear understanding of repair scope prior to mobilization to assure materials/tool preparedness

Manage all onsite activities of a job to ensure completion

Contribute to best client service and support them during field visits in a professional manner

Coherently document the issues in follow-up reports with remedies for repairs or replacement of equipment

Remotely assist both customers and other Nickerson staff with emergency equipment issues. Provide a safe work environment

Complete coherent Inspections and Surveying of Equipment Work directly with Project Coordinators to review completed projects

Tow Nickerson Equipment

Warehouse Assist:

KD locker build as needed

Equipment Upkeep: Maintenance program for lifts, trailers, and company vehicles

Inventory Control Housekeeping / Organization

Assist Project Coordinators as needed

Accept Deliveries and Load trucks as needed Make Deliveries as needed

Required Skills for Position:

Towing

Scissor lift Certification

Forklift Certification OSHA 30 Certification

SST Certification

Communication skills

Computer & tablet

Comprehension of Architectural Drawings and Wiring Schematics

Basic understanding of electrical components

Must have valid driver’s license

Be able to work in K-12 setting
