Engineering Coordinator

Job Purpose
The Engineering Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities related to engineering projects, ensuring that objectives, deadlines, and quality standards are met.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Support the pre- and post- phases of engineering projects, ensuring that established objectives and deadlines are met.
· Oversee the allocation of resources.
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficiency.
· Ensure the engineering processes comply with quality standards and applicable regulations.
· Conduct periodic audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement.
· Coordinates with Senior Field Engineers to maintain inventory levels as well coordinate POs and reviews invoices for the engineering department in the state of Florida.
· Plans, schedules, assigns and performs traffic study data collection, analysis and reporting in coordination with the Field Engineering Team or external personnel.
· Coordinate with the Senior Field Engineer, lidar and radar devices are calibrated annually and that all records are properly maintained and recorded in the control system.
· Prepare reports for management.
· Maintain up-to-date documentation of engineering projects.
· Identifies opportunities to improve operational efficiencies to the department’s processes, manuals, and procedures.
· Propose and implement innovative solutions and technologies to optimize processes of the database.
· Identify and mitigate operational and technical risks.
· Propose and develop contingency plans for critical situations.
· Follows company safety protocols and procedures.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
High School Diploma or Associate Degree (Preferred but not required).
3-5 years of office managing and/or administrative experience,
Combination of education and experience.

Working Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and cellphones. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. 90% sitting and walking 10% on the field. 20% travel may be required.
