Job Title: Rheumatologist

Location: Munster, Indiana

Salary Range: $280,000 - $330,000 annually

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Rheumatologist to join our team in Munster, Indiana. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population, diagnosing and treating a variety of rheumatic conditions. This position offers an opportunity to practice in a supportive, community-focused environment with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of rheumatologic conditions including arthritis, lupus, gout, and osteoporosis.

Provide comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history reviews, physical exams, and appropriate diagnostic testing.

Develop individualized treatment plans and offer effective management strategies for chronic conditions.

Collaborate with other medical professionals, including primary care providers, to ensure holistic and coordinated care for patients.

Perform joint injections, musculoskeletal ultrasounds, and other procedural interventions as necessary.

Educate patients about their conditions and treatment options, ensuring they are well-informed about their care plan.

Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current on emerging trends and treatments in rheumatology.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.

Board certification in Rheumatology (or eligibility for certification).

Valid state medical license to practice in Indiana.

CPR and ACLS certification.

Previous experience in rheumatology, particularly in a clinical or community setting, preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing healthcare practices.
