Location: Tallassee, Alabama
As an Assembler, you’ll:
Assist technicians in assembling parts, subassemblies, and fittings using a variety of tools and fasteners (bolts, screws, rivets, clamps, etc.)
Support prototype and technology demonstrator builds by closely following detailed product specs
Secure components with brackets, hinges, clips, chemical bonds, or welds
Prep components with cleaning, oiling, or coatings before installation
Follow work orders to join structural assemblies with precision
Use jigs, templates, and measuring tools to lay out and mark reference points
Label or stamp identifying info onto parts
Align subassemblies in fixtures using blueprints and measurement tools
Inspect dimensions and alignments with standard gauges and instruments
Sort and dispose of materials responsibly, including metal shavings and solvents
Fabricate parts using shop tools and machinery
Install machine accessories and operate specialized equipment like swaging machines
Swage fittings onto cables, splice seals or strands using bonding techniques or clamps
Cut, trim, bend, or smooth parts to ensure a perfect fit and clearance
️ As a Machine Operator, you’ll:
Operate, monitor, and maintain production machinery
Set up machines per detailed instructions and specifications
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
Conduct routine equipment maintenance and cleaning
Troubleshoot issues and escalate problems to supervisors or maintenance staff
Follow safety standards and maintain a clean, organized workspace
