Top Flight Maintenance – Cheyenne, Wyoming

Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 Full-Time

Your Role:

As the Landscape and Snow Operations Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our operations, ensuring that our landscape and snow removal teams run efficiently and deliver exceptional service. You’ll collaborate with the leadership team to strategize both long- and short-term goals, improve processes, and guide your team to achieve success. You’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact through employee training, leadership, and customer-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide long- and short-term planning for crew efficiency and time management in both landscape and snow operations.

Lead and manage teams, including hiring, evaluating performance, and providing coaching.

Encourage employee growth and development, planning for succession.

Oversee employee discipline and training on job-specific aspects.

Train and strictly enforce all safety procedures and policies.

Ensure work is performed to the level of quality required to completely satisfy each customer.

Participate in the company’s Quality Control System.

Oversee training and certification activities.

Identify and work to improve lower-performing crew leaders and crews.

Manage and direct the coordination of crew members, including dispatch times, work zones, route adjustments, and all other items relating to snow.

Manage snow removal operations, including route scheduling, equipment readiness, and crew assignments for data centers.

Monitor and ensure compliance with snow removal deadlines and client requirements.

Prepare work tickets, schedule jobs, and coordinate operational logistics.

Meet with crews and clients on-site to ensure satisfaction and job quality.

Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop and implement operational strategies for year-round services.

Customer-focused, positive demeanor. The ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a wide audience (internal and external) while providing thoughtful resolutions to customer issues and communicating these issues with management and others appropriately.

24x7 availability to be on call during the winter season, usually October 1st - May 31st.

Availability to work early hours during the snow season (3:00 AM)

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in landscape management or snow operations.

Ability to safely operate and maintain snowplows, skid steers, and other snow removal equipment.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Proficiency in scheduling, resource allocation, and operational logistics.

Familiarity with landscape maintenance equipment and snow removal machinery.

Experience with planting, bed maintenance, and landscape enhancements.

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.

Proficient with computers and smart devices.

Self-motivated, well-organized, and professional.

Bonus Points if You Have:

2-year or 4-year degree in Turf, Landscaping, Horticulture, or related discipline.

2-3 years of landscape enhancement/detail experience preferred.

2-3 years managing Snow Removal Operations.

3 years of landscape foreman or installation experience.

Current State of Wyoming Pesticide Applicators License.

Arborist License.
