SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The Warehouse Manager will be primarily responsible for ensuring that all warehouse activities are carried out efficiently and profitably, under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer.PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Oversee the daily workflow of the warehouse; schedule and organize staff to ensure proper staffing of all shifts.
Hires and trains new warehouse employees.
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
DIMENSIONS, TASKS, AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage the company’s shipping and receiving functions in the warehouse.
Following production planning schedules, manage the timely kitting and delivery of production work order materials.
Ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries by shipping date and customer instructions. Prioritize and process shipments using the ERP system and by coordinating with Sales and Accounting staff. Regularly achieve an on-time shipment status of 99%+.
Manage the warehouse inventory cycle count program. Maintain inventory accuracy at 99%.
Oversee the accurate processing of transactions in customer distribution portals.
Supervise, coach, and train the warehouse workforce.
Negotiate transportation rates and services with freight carriers to obtain the most cost-effective and efficient means of transporting products and materials.
Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistic changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes/mixes, or carriers.

This is a full-time, exempt role.
EDUCATION
BA or BS in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
Five to 10 years of related experience required; supervisory experience strongly preferred.WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 5 years managing logistics and warehouse operations in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
3+ years’ experience in the manufacturing industry preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong problem-solving abilities
Experience with customer distribution software portals.
Experience creating and communicating policies and procedures for logistic activities.
Experience working in a GMP-compliant environment with quality management and documentation, standard operating procedures.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Hands-on experience in transacting and analyzing inventory and shipments with ERP software systems. Experience with Sage X3 is a plus.
Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills.
Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.
SPECIAL DEMANDS
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.
