Company Overview

We are a leading provider of innovative packaging solutions is expanding its sales team and seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to drive business development and expand our client base.

Position Summary

The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and consistently meeting sales targets. The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-oriented professional with a strong understanding of the flexible packaging industry and a proven ability to close deals.

Job Title: Sales Representative – Flexible Packaging

Location: Fairfield, NJ (Travel Required)

Salary: Competitive base salary + commission structure

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Onsite

Monday - Friday

9 AM - 5PM

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with 4% match after 1 year

Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through sourcing, prospecting, and networking.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients to drive sales growth.

Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate flexible packaging solutions.

Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.

Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets, including lead qualification, referrals, and revenue goals.

Create and deliver compelling client presentations, manage proposals, and address client concerns.

Travel across the U.S. and Canada for client meetings (travel expenses covered).

Qualifications

Proven sales experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably within flexible packaging.

Strong understanding of industry trends and market dynamics.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently without micromanagement.

Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas.

Track record of successfully growing existing client accounts.
