Overview

We are looking for local or out-of-state new grad or experienced Registered Dietitians to join our nationally recognized healthcare system. This is NOT a Remote position.

Responsibilities

Registered Dietitian (RD) Job Summary

This position is with the Outpatient Diabetes & Nutrition Education Department.

Will provide both diabetes and nutrition education to pediatrics through adulthood, with diverse diagnoses to include weight management, diabetes, food allergies, pregnancy, etc.

This position includes individual and group instruction for weight loss, diabetes and pre-diabetes; metabolism testing, and will work alongside referring clinics within the hospital system.

Position may periodically include community outreach with health fairs, medical staff education and community public speaking engagements.

Collaborates with clinical dietetic team to maintain high standards and provide innovative programs. Some travel may be required to outlying clinics/areas.

Qualifications

Registered Dietitian (RD) Job Qualifications

Master's Degree in related Dietitian field for new graduates becoming licensed after 1/1/2024

Bachelor's degree in qualifying field required.

NC Dietitian license required.

CDCES Certification or eligibility preferred.

Must obtain CDCES certification within 2 years of hire date.

Strong computer skills needed.
