SLITTING LINE ASSOCIATE

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Slitting Line Associate for a company based in Woodstock, AL.

Pay Rate

$17.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 4 00 am to 12 30 pm.

OR

Monday through Friday, 7 00 am to 3 30 pm.

Slitting Line Associate Duties and Responsibilities

•Preparing and operating the slitting line equipment to cut metal coils to specified widths.

•Loading and unloading coils using cranes or forklifts

•Inspecting materials for defects and ensuring slits meet precise specifications

•Recording production data, material usage, and quality check

•Closely always follow safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly.

Slitting Line Associate Qualifications and Requirements

•Must have excellent communication skills.

•Ability to complete basic math (without assistance) such as addition, subtraction and fractions.

•Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries.

•Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy loads safely and efficiently that are up to 75 pounds.

•Must be flexible to help in other areas as fabrication or forklift or packaging.
