Accounts Receivable Clerk - Springfield, OH

Job Summary:

As the Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will work closely with other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of customer payments and to address any customer inquiries or issues. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Process and record incoming payments from customers and clients accurately and in a timely manner

Reconcile payments with invoices, receipts, and other financial records

Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payments, including missing or incorrect information

Communicate with customers and clients to resolve payment discrepancies or issues

Maintain and update records of all payment transactions in the accounting system

Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient payment processing.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent

1+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related field

Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong organizational and time management skills
