Job Description

We're looking for a skilled and motivated CNC Mill and Lathe Operator II to join our team. In this role, you will be a key player in our manufacturing process, responsible for setting up and operating a variety of CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation & Setup: Set up and operate a variety of CNC mills and lathes. Install and align tooling, fixtures, and attachments, and fine-tune machine settings for optimal performance and precision.

Quality Control: Produce parts with high quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet tight tolerances and specifications. You'll perform inspections on in-process and finished parts using tools like calipers, micrometers, and gages.

Programming & Troubleshooting: Read and edit G-code and troubleshoot machining or design issues by communicating with programmers and designers. You'll also work from blueprints and complex technical drawings.

Maintenance & Documentation: Perform routine machine maintenance, including maintaining coolant and lubrication levels. You will also be responsible for completing documentation for first-article inspections and entering production data into our JobBoss software.

Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.

Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC milling machines.

1-2 years of experience operating CNC lathe machines.

Proficiency in reading and editing G-code and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

Experience with Fanuc controls is required.

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

A strong work ethic, dependability, and punctuality are a must.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Comfortable working in a typical shop environment with exposure to noise, coolant, dust, and metal shavings.
