JOB SUMMARY: To achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory by effectively selling company products to hotels, bars, pubs, and restaurants and personally contacting and securing new business accounts.

COMMON ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Policies, Processes and Procedures: Follows all relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Budget/Financial: Monitors the financial performance of the concerned area against budgets.

Day to Day: Completes the day-to-day operations of the department to ensure work processes are implemented.

Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborates with other departments to ensure accurate information is captured and overall alignment is maintained.

JOB-SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Sales & Client Management:

Makes telephone calls and in-person sales visits to existing and prospective clients.

Establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with current and prospective clients.

Prepares deals, negotiates prices, and sells products to achieve maximum sales profitability and growth.

Reporting & Analysis:

Monitors the visibility of company products, target audience, and competition activities.

Provides periodic reports and statistics to the On-Trade Sales Assistant Manager.

Logistics & Follow-Up:

Follows up on new leads and referrals from field activities.

Follows up on the Account Receivable Aging report to ensure timely payments.

Follows up on product returns in coordination with the On-Trade Sales Assistant Manager.

Liaises with warehouses and data entry personnel to ensure effective product delivery.

Marketing & Events:

Collaborates with the marketing team on promotional materials and P.O.S. gifts.

Attends events held by on-trade clients to ensure conformance to agreements.

Knowledge Management:

Keeps abreast of current sales agreements, campaigns, vendor and product information, and promotional trends.

Identifies and resolves client concerns and complaints.

Communicates outstanding issues to the On-Trade Sales Assistant Manager.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any relevant field.

Experience: 4–6 years of sales experience, preferably with at least 1 year in the FMCG industry.

Skills:

Advanced negotiation skills.

Proficient customer service skills.

Advanced in English.

Basic computer skills.
