Job Description

Our skilled nursing facility is seeking an experienced full-time Assistant Director of Nursing ADON.

The Assistant Director of Nursing ADON will play a critical role in supporting the Director of Nursing in overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department to ensure the highest level of care for patients.

Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to promote professional growth and development.

Monitor and evaluate nursing practices to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and promote quality improvement initiatives.

Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and excellence in patient care.

Qualifications and Skills

Active state RN license

Experience in a management position at a SNF or long-term care facility

Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of nursing practices and procedures

Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
