Job Description: A well-established engineering firm is seeking an Editor to join their internal Editorial Services Department.
This role supports technical teams by editing and formatting various business and technical documents.
The ideal candidate will have strong command of grammar, excellent attention to detail, and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, management, and marketing teams to ensure timely, accurate, and polished document delivery.
Key Responsibilities:Provide copyediting and proofreading support for technical and business documentsApply internal style standards and formatting to various content types (e.g., reports, letters, proposals, presentations, articles)Track and correct errors in grammar, punctuation, and formattingUse SharePoint to manage document control and version trackingAssist technical staff with document formatting and client delivery protocolsUse company templates to prepare deliverablesMay support special editorial projects or assist in assigned functional areas Requirements:Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (required)Experience: 3–5 years of editing or documentation experience.
