Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A long-term care pharmacy in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Cold Storage Warehouse/Inventory Technician for a 6-month contract assignment. Candidates must hold an active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license and be fortable working in a high-volume, temperature-controlled warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, stock, and move cold and dry storage materials

Handle cold storage pallets in and out of arctic blast freezers (-20C to -30C)

Replenish internal freezers daily (100150 units weighing 2025 lbs each)

Track thaw times and manage proper refrigeration of cold chain products

Operate manual pallet jacks and/or powered forklifts for product movement

Pack and stage pharmaceutical shipments for FedEx transport

Monitor temperature logs and follow cold chain handling protocols

Maintain accurate inventory logs and ensure product traceability

Requirements:

Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license (non-negotiable)

Prior experience in inventory management in a pharmacy or warehouse setting

Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in cold storage environments

fortable using ladders and accessing high shelves

Must be flexible with scheduling (days/evenings and rotating weekends)

Preferred/Ideal Qualifications:

Prior long-term care pharmacy experience

Knowledge of specialty/cold chain medication storage

Experience operating pallet jacks or forklifts

Familiarity with FedEx shipping procedures
