Physician - Pathology, Hematopathology (Open Rank/Track Faculty)
The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek an academic Hematopathologist to join the Department of Pathology. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.
Position Overview:
The successful applicant will be expected to participate in the bone marrow/lymph node, fluid/coagulation and flow cytometry diagnostic services, take part in resident and medical student education, conduct productive, basic, clinical and/or translational research, and collaborate with a world class Hematology/Oncology division. The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center have an expanding NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center including an active bone marrow transplantation program as well as many outreach and affiliated hospitals resulting in a high volume of cases with a wide variety of specimens.
Requirements:
- MD or DO or equivalent
- Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Pathology
- Subspecialty in Hematopathology
- Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio
