Role Overview
The Salesforce Developer will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing Salesforce solutions that support the operational and strategic goals of a solar energy partner. Embracing both remote flexibility and on-site collaboration, this role enables impactful contributions to sustainable energy initiatives through technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions—including Apex code, Lightning components, Visualforce pages, and low-code automations.
Design and build high-performance, reusable code using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC), while ensuring adherence to best practices and maintainability.
Troubleshoot and optimize existing Salesforce features, delivering enhancements and improvements based on user feedback.
Develop integrations with third-party systems via APIs and web services—ensuring data flows securely and efficiently across platforms.
Write unit tests and support CI/CD processes to maintain code quality and enable smooth deployments.
Collaborate with stakeholders—including administrators, architects, and business teams—to align solutions with business needs and sustainability goals.
Maintain clear documentation and share knowledge to ensure continuity and success within the team.
Ideal Qualifications
Technical Experience: 2–5 years as a Salesforce Developer with strong command of Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Visualforce, and Lightning component development.
Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I (essential); Platform Developer II (preferred).
Integration Skills: Practical experience with REST/SOAP APIs or middleware platforms.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, troubleshooting prowess, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Bonus: Passion for renewable energy and sustainability, or experience working with solar or green energy sectors.
