Position Overview

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations of one or several electrical construction projects and the successful management of a high performing team. You will manage the planning, execution, and financial performance of your projects using business practices that are consistent with our company values - people, safety, integrity, innovation and excellence. Bringing projects to completion within budget constraints and at or above customer expectations, you will build relationships to enhance future business development opportunities. Ideally, you will have at least five years of experience managing people and electrical construction projects.

Position Responsibilities:

The overall successful management of assigned projects

The overall management of budgets, schedules, resource and workforce allocation, communication and client satisfaction.

Timely decisions and direction to ensure project profitability.

The proper utilization/management of Company-Owned and rented equipment.

Direct supervision of all project assigned supervisory and other management office/staff.

Provide appropriate guidance and input into the development

Updating of all project schedules, job cost and other management reports.

Provide key input into the development and execution of all subcontracts, purchase orders, payment requisitions, proposals, etc.

If appropriate, review and approve all job site purchases.

Review and approve all key job site construction methods and practices.

Prepare for timely submission all necessary monthly job cost and other financial reports.

Support all Company training and employee development activities and provide appropriate input and feedback, as necessary.

Ensure that all work meets the highest standards of workmanship, and that all work and materials are in compliance with project specifications and drawings.

Manage all job close out procedures to ensure project and Company requirements are met.

Here’s What We’re Looking For:

10+ years of Electrical Project Management or construction management experience, specifically in Mission Critical Facilities, or Data Center Campuses.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and estimating software, preferably Accubid

Experience successfully completing multi-million-dollar electrical construction projects

Experience in large commercial and industrial environments and markets.

Experience with client-interface, and communicating with customers

Experience implementing a high-level of coordination among the Company’s stakeholders

Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications

Strong knowledge with NEC

Basic knowledge of electrical installations

Supports and enforces OSHA Workplace Safety compliance focusing on overall safety of employees, subcontractors, customers, and public.

Experience with complex Design-Build projects

Ability to multitask in a high volume, fast-paced work environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Must be organized, detail-oriented and efficient
